For as long as she can remember, Ash has always been drawn to health and fitness. She studied a commerce degree at the University of Cape Town and this is where her love for road running really transpired. She started doing half marathons which lead to full and ultra marathons and then the Comrades marathon in 2010.

When Ash became a mother in 2012, she finally decided to follow her passion and study personal training, in order to help other women remain fit and healthy during their pregnancies or to help them lose their baby weight. She is also a qualified SWEAT1000 instructor.

Ash then discovered Barre and has never looked back. Because her training mainly focuses on high intensity workouts, she loves the way in which Barre is completely different yet equally as effective. She believes that the combination of light weights, cardio and ballet/pilates-inspired moves will change your body forever. And then add the amazing music and you’ve got the best workout in the world!

The number one driving force behind Ash’s passion for Barre is the complete focus on helping women become the best that they can be.
